Session 2
New Value: The Value Chain AI will Create
The global biohealth industry currently faces structural crises,
including an aging population, an increase in chronic diseases,
shortages of essential medical personnel, and rising healthcare costs.
Concurrently, the accumulation of vast multimodal medical data and the rapid breakthroughs in generative Al and
medical foundation models present a unique opportunity to drive structural transformations across the entire biohealth sector,
moving far beyond simple task automation.
Rather than merely enhancing the performance of individual products,
Al is now organically linking a ’’patient-centered, end-to-end value chain"—spanning from disease understanding and
drug candidate discovery to clinical development,
ultra-precision diagnosis, and intelligent hospital operations.
Under this paradigm, innovative new drugs developed by biopharmaceutical companies are integrated with precise patient screening and companion diagnostics powered by software as medical devices(SaMD).
Subsequently, the Real-World Data(RWD) accumulated within Al-Native Hospitals feeds back into biopharmaceutical clinical trial optimization and manufacturing supply chain innovations. This interconnected ecosystem establishes a robust "Data Loop".
This session aims to examine how Al is reshaping the biohealth value chain through
real-world case studies from global hospitals, big pharma, and leading medical Al companies.
By exploring the paradigm shifts in drug and medical device development,
Hospital AX(AI Transformation) strategies that intellectualize clinical decision-making,
and proactive global regulatory frameworks, this session will present a blueprint for an advanced future healthcare ecosystem.
Ultimately, we seek to identify actionable pathways for global collaboration to bridge healthcare disparities and
deliver sustainable, patient-centric value.
