Amid the rapid aging of the population, countries around the world are shifting their policy and scientific focus from simply extending life expectancy to promoting healthy aging that prioritizes maintaining quality of life and functional independence.
In this context, Aging & Health Tech is emerging as a key pillar of next-generation strategies for addressing the challenges of aging societies.
Aging & Health Tech refers to technologies that help older adults maintain their physical and cognitive functions, prevent social isolation, and sustain independent daily living.
This session aims to explore pathways for achieving healthy aging through Aging & Health Tech, which integrates
cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence, biotechnology, and robotics.
It will serve as a platform for comprehensive discussions on policy development, industry trends, international cooperation, and
technological innovation in this field.
In particular, the session will bring together international experts and representatives of international organization to examine international standards and policy environments related to technology-enabled healthy aging.
It will also explore opportunities for Korean companies to enter the global Aging & Health Tech market and pursue collaborative initiatives.
Through these discussions, the session seeks to contribute to the development of innovative models for aging societies by promoting the convergence of bio and digital technologies, advancing the global dissemination of Korea’s
Aging & Health Tech strategies and policy frameworks, and identifying practical cooperation agendas with foreign countries.
