Session 3

: Bio-clusters

Advancing Innovation in the

Bio-Ecosystem beyond Regions

and Borders

Bio-clusters

The bio-health industry is recognized worldwide as a key driver of future growth.

In response, countries around the world are enhancing their R&D capabilities centered around bio-clusters, to foster comprehensive and sustainable growth of bio-health ecosystems.

These bio-clusters are evolving beyond simple geographic concentrations into vibrant, collaborative networks where research, technology, talent, and businesses are seamlessly connected.

In light of rising global health challenges and the accelerating convergence of advanced technologies, the importance of global partnerships among

bio-clusters is drawing increasing attention.

Nations are not only refining their own cluster models but also strengthening cross-border cooperation to tackle shared challenges and create new opportunities together.

This session serves as a global forum for bio-clusters from diverse contexts to exchange insights, share best practices, and search opportunities for collaboration based on mutual understanding.

Through this initiative, we aim to deepen inter-cluster connectivity and establish cooperative frameworks for joint action, ultimately contributing to the advancement of global health and health innovation for everyone, everywhere.

(Session Topics)

· Key prerequisites for the development and vitalization of bio-clusters

· Sharing success stories of bio-clusters and domestic cooperation experiences
